How can wood flooring be installed reliably onto subfloors that are in need of refurbishment?

Abrade the surface with a WOLFF disc sanding-machine. Vacuum with a high-performance industrial vacuum cleaner to clean off all sanding dust and other contamination. Observing all relevant work protection regulations, put the rapiddrying 1-component PU primer UZIN PE 414 Turbo into a clean oval bucket.

Apply the UZIN PE 414 Turbo rapid primer thinly onto the surface using the UZIN nylon fibre roller. Depending on the substrate and application quantity, with a consumption of approx. 100 – 150 g/m², the primer should be set after around 60 mi nutes.

The two components of the 2-K PUR Wood Flooring Ahdesive UZIN MK 92 S are mixed using a drill with a spiral mixer attachment.

Apply the adhesive evenly using trowel notch B1 or B2.

The Multimoll Vlies is laid with tightly butted seams and is cut in at the edges. Within the working time for the adhesive (approx. 50 – 60 minutes), lay the Multimoll Vlies into the adhesive bed and roll using a heavy linoleum roller.

Then roll the installed underlay with a heavy linoleum roller. Important: the panels must be fully bedded into the adhesive!

UZIN MK 95 is evenly spread onto the Multimoll Vlies using the recommended B11 trowel notch. The wood flooring (in the picture an on-edge parquet) is laid into the adhesive with a light pushing motion and is pressed down. After approx. 24 hours, the surface can be sanded and will take full loading.
