What is the best method to protect calcium sulphate screeds against high residual moisture? With UZIN PE 425.

The industry has seen a growth in the use of calcium sulphate screeds but there has always been a problem with adequately protecting against residual moisture, especially if the relative humidity is above 85%. After several years of rigorous testing, UZIN has developed a solution by combining UZIN PE 425 into a DPM system. Calcium sulphate screeds can now be permanently protected against residual moisture up to 95% RH. This allows projects to be expedited without the long delays previously caused by damp anhydrite screeds.

Spread UZIN NC 160 onto the substrate using a UZIN Screed Rake or Screed Trowel. Remove any air using a spike roller and allow to dry. <p>Choose a suitable adhesive for installing the floor covering such as UZIN KE 66 for PVC, rubber or luxury vinyl tiles. Apply evenly onto the substrate using a suitable notched trowel.
